Why and How are Pimples Formed?
Pimples appear most often in the teens, there are different types of pimples, but it is possible to have them in your 20s, 30s, or 40s. Regardless of age, the causes are the same: they are formed mainly due to increased sebum production (or hyperseborrhea).
Sebum is an oily substance that the skin naturally produces to protect it from the cold or sunlight. Segregated in too much quantity, it mixes with the dead cells that accumulate inside the pores and clogs them.
The sebum then favors the development of a bacteria present in a natural state at the level of the follicles, causing irritation, redness, inflammation, or pimples. Likewise, it should be noted that certain factors can aggravate the formation of pimples and acne: stress, smoking, pollution, taking medications, or the hormonal cycle.
Types of Pimples
There are different types of pimples, classified here according to their level of development.
Black dots
Blackheads or open comedones appear because the pores become clogged by the accumulation of dead cells and bacteria. They turn black because the sebum oxidizes and turns black when in contact with air. This is the first manifestation of acne.
Red pimples
Red pimples or papules are the result of infection from blackheads. When they are inflamed, they turn red and increase. This is when pimples form on the skin, often painful (nodules or cysts).
White Pimples
White pimples or pustules appear when the red pimples become inflamed. In order to fight germs, white blood cells produce pus that becomes visible on the surface.
Do you know how to remove pimples?
Before explaining how to remove pimples in a simple way, it is essential to know that regardless of the type of pimples, you should adopt the good habit of cleaning your skin every morning and every night, using products adapted to each type of skin.
This process removes excess sebum, dead cells, and impurities accumulated throughout the day. An excellent way to prevent the appearance of problems and not have to know how to remove pimples.
Remove blackheads
To avoid the appearance of blackheads, it is advisable to accompany daily cleaning with exfoliating products 1 to 2 times a week. These de-scale pores in-depth, dissolving excess sebum and leaving the skin healthy and smooth. A lotion can also complete this cleansing in order to close the pores for even cleaner skin.
Remove red pimples
In order to remove red pimples, it is necessary to choose adapted products that treat these pimples, favoring their reduction and helping to prevent the formation of new pimples. These first leave the skin soft and clean. In the case of painful red pimples, there are soothing gels that aim to calm them while providing a feeling of freshness.
Remove white pimples
To remove white pimples, what you should never do is pop them. This can lead to aggravation and increase the risk of marks on the face (or body). They must be treated daily, like red pimples, with an adapted washing product and targeted, gentle care.
